I noticed that the eos repo I used with basurl
https://storage-ci.web.cern.ch/storage-ci/eos/diopside/commit/fc-37 has disappeared, replaced by the fc-38 version. No surprise - the dependencies for the new fc-38 version are incompatible with my fc-37 OS.Is an updated fc-37 repo in prep or can the old one be restored.
Hi Art,
We provide the Fedora builds on a best-effort basis, and we have recently consolidated the set of OSes for which we provide eos packages. Therefore, we no longer provide fc-37 packages but only fc-38. You can find them following these links:
Dependencies:
https://storage-ci.web.cern.ch/storage-ci/eos/diopside-depend/fc-38/x86_64/
EOS packages:
https://storage-ci.web.cern.ch/storage-ci/eos/diopside/tag/testing/fc-38/x86_64/
If you really need fc-38 you can rebuild them from sources:
https://storage-ci.web.cern.ch/storage-ci/eos/diopside/tag/testing/fc-38/SRPMS/eos-5.2.0-1.fc38.src.rpm
Cheers,

Hi Elvin,
So I’m not in a hurry to upgrade to Fedora 38, and my eos version 5.1.27 still works fine. Latest version in Index of /storage-ci/eos/diopside/tag/testing/fc-37/x86_64 is 5.1.29. Should I upgrade to that rpm and be aware that there are likely no further revisions coming?
Hi Art,
I would say unless you have an issue with your current fuse client, you don’t need to upgrade - you already have a recent enough version. There are for sure no new binary releases coming for fc-37.
Cheers,
Elvin
Thanks Elvin!
