EOS_BROKER_URL :: why localhost?

Hi! I see that for the eos_env setup it is recommended to use localhost for EOS_BROKER_URL…
Why? wouldn’t the fqdn work as well?

Hi Adrian,

In the default EOS setup the MGM and MQ (broker) are colocated therefore you have the localhost entry, of course you can use the fqdn.

Hi @esindril ! So, not matter the node in the cluster (even in case of colocation of MGM and MQ), the fqdn can be used safely?
