I have the latest update to eos. I have the cm106 sound driver, I use logitech 5.1 surround sound system.
The sound system is set for 5.1 surround on the gnome level and on the pulseaudio level. When I test the sound system speakers with gnome settings it all works as expected but apps only use the front left and right speakers. Apps as example are browser with netflix, youtube etc, I have spotify and video players loaded too. None work in 5.1 mode.
I’ve booted up ubuntu. The 5.1 surround sound works as expected in all apps.
Importantly…eos used to work fine on same hardware with 5.1 surround sound before an update sometime back. Also I’ve reinstalled eos from scratch and no luck…
